Commissioning at Diocesan Convention

November 20, 2018

On Friday, November 16, the Corps Members were commissioned as part of the 203rd Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina.

As part of the commissioning, the Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple asked the Corps Members:

“…Will you devote yourselves to loving your neighbors, caring for one another in mind, body, and spirit, seeking justice and showing mercy, and showing a reverence for all of God’s creation?”

Tirzah, Mirka, Emily J., Emerson, Liz, Ann, Alisia, Zachary, Aaron, and Emily Z. replied, “We will.”

Bishop Anne sent them on with these words, “May God bless you in this calling to join with us in striving to be the Beloved Community of God.”
