Alumni Meet Ups — Planned and Unplanned

July 9, 2018

The Carrboro house crew was on a Ben & Jerry’s run at Harris Teeter recently, when they saw a familiar face — JSC alum Alli Little! She was having a reunion with her former JSC housemate Erica Long. They shared a photo and this story from their connection:

“We had a nice chat in the ice cream/paper towel aisle. Turns out Erica is from Maine (as is Celeste) and she had left a lot of Maine-related objects in the house that we had always wondered about (a magnet, a deck of cards, a cookie cutter, etc). It was a funny coincidence, and it gave us current JSC-ers hope that we’ll still be friendsĀ in five years. Once a Johnson Corps Member, always a Johnson Corps Member!”

In June, Corps Members from the 2014-15 year had a mini-reunion, and three of them decided to recreate a photo from their final retreat (the one on the left). Pictured are Jean Martinez, Rebecca Ogus, and Chris Shore.
